![]() ![]() ![]() I use the JS plugin combination called Split and Join. I build my own multiband compressors within Reaper, when needed. ![]() Then get the LinMB, Lin Lowband, L2 or 元 Ultramaximizer, S1 Shuffler, and I am also fond of the Solid State Logic compressor on the master bus as well to give a nice overall compression when needed. If you want all the components of the Ozone but with Waves plug ins. You can control a lot of the overpowering frequencies without losing the power of the mix and it allows you to get the volume and control that you are looking for. Transparency - the compression is very clear. Its nice to see the overall picture of the compressor.ģ. Ozone only gives you a meter for the frequency range selected and just has a gain reduction bar. LinMB gives a good visual of all the frequencies being compressed in real time. Visual - the visual component is much better than Ozone. Especially for mastering there is no need for crazy EQ, and the LinMB eq is very clear.Ģ. Flexibility - it can be used as a slight graphic EQ as well as a multiband compressor. But if you are just looking for a Multiband compressor go with the LinMB. If you are looking for one plug in to do everything (Maximizer, Stereo Imaging, Reverb, etc) then go with Ozone. i have used both Ozone and Waves and I can't stop using the LinMB. I would definitely go with the Waves LinMB. ![]()
